Titans of Space Cardboard VR

I have always been interested in space and this app for you phone lets you explore the solar system with the help of google cardboard. My initial impression of the app was amazing, after fist picking your settings for google cardboard, you wake up in a space ship with dramatic piano music playing in the background. Looking out the the window I see the sun and earth. The controls are a little weird you select something by looking directly at it for a few seconds. I look down and select the autopilot button and the ship begins to fly past different planets in our solar system giving me information and pausing on each. As I get further away from earth the sun and our solar system shrink in the background.

This app would be great for any space enthusiasts that want to experience outer space in a more realistic way. Would also be great for kids to get them interested in space.

This app is a handheld AR experience, that with the help of google cardboard on your phone becomes a very immersive experience.

The app uses feedback from the movement of my head, when I look at something for a couple seconds that button is selected.

Overall a amazing little VR app, the imagery of the planets is good and it is educational while being engaging and somewhat interactive. Also the app implements a checkpoint feature allowing you to come back to your saved place without having to finish the whole tour.

Improvements for the app would be the ability to pilot the ship yourself and fly closer to the planets. Also would be great to have an option to lock the buttons so when I am looking around I don't accidentally hit one of them.

SLAM/ tracking

With this titian of space app it appears there not much slam tracking being used because the app is on a preset course like amusement park ride, basic good cardboard head tracking is used when I look around. But the world is a total VR experience and no real word tracking is being used.
